From time to time Irish Terriers come into rescue.

This can be for a variety of reasons including death of their owner, change in circumstances, not getting on with other canine members in the household.

All Irish Terrier Societies work together with rescue to ensure the right family is found for that special dog who needs a forever home.

We do not operate on a first come first served basis as we want to ensure the right home is found for each individual dog.

If you think you could offer a home for a rescue then please contact us - you do not have to wait for a dog to become available to let us know you are there waiting.

In the meantime we do have a lovely Irish boy looking for a home

His name is Giddy, he is looking for a home with owners who have experience with Irish Terriers. He is just 2 years old and would benefit from owners who have the time and energy to continue with his training. He is at present living with his owner and her three year old son who he is very good with. His owner is finding it difficult to take him out at the same time as her son in the pushchair as Giddy is not good with some other dogs particularly males!
He needs a home where his boundrys will be set and maintained, but should at his young age adapt well.
He needs to be the only dog in the household
